JDM comeback?
We've all seen them as car people. Those classic Japanese kings ruling the road. Road marshal artists like the Toyota Supra, the Acura/Honda NSX, Honda Civic Type R, and cars like that.
Well -insert some number here- years later, Honda/Acura releases the NSX. I honestly think it is a great car. With 573 horsepower and 47lb-ft of torque. That car can get to 60 mph in 3 seconds. Kinda slow considering the times of modern-day supercars. Although, this technological monster looks so good to me. Although, Honda could have done a tiny bit more detail on the rear of the car. Still a work of art anyways. Just this year, Honda released the Civic Type-R for the US. (Finally!) A beautiful work of art for a $35,000 sports car. With 306 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, it's got some power. The Type-R is a goal I could probably reach...
Now at the Geneva Autoshow, we were shown the new Toyota Supra race-spec car. With certain design features from the Toyota FT-1 Concept, as car people, we just can't wait for the Supra to finally come out.
So here we are, 2018, we sit and watch as Japan continues to push out their legends. Although they aren't totally made in Japan, most of the design and building being in done in America and other countries, we can still enjoy the new things that the old cars of the JDM days of the 90's.
