The man, the myth, the legend.

We all know this brand. Porshe. We all may not know how to pronounce it right, but we all know the brand. The iconic Porshe 911 design was seen as Sally in the movie Cars. But who started Porshe?
His name was Ferdinand Porshe. Well, who's that? You may ask.
Ferdinand Porshe was a German engineer during the Second World War. He designed many advanced tanks and weapons.
Ferdinand built the first gas-electric hybrid car called the Lohner-Porshe.
He also designed the Mercedes SS/SSK

Now maybe unknown to you, Mr. Porshe designed the first Volkswagon Beetle. Mind = blown, right? Totally.

Apparently, the idea in Europe was that everyone would be able to own a car, even the poor people. This brought about iconic cars like the Beetle, the Mini Cooper, and the Abarth/Fiat 595. Mr. Porshe and his son soon went on to build cool sports cars.

Funny enough, one of the only cars that I can think of that has kept its same design pretty much its entire lifespan was the Porshe 911.

I mean, there isn't that much of a difference between the two of them.
Porshe is honestly one of my favorite car companies and even though some people say they are unreliable, eh they can't be too bad. They are German right?
Mr. Ferdinand Porshe certainly started something interesting. Didn't he?
